Chemical peels are curated by the depth at which they refine the skin, ranging from superficial to medium-depth and deep treatments. The deeper the peel penetrates, the more enhanced the exfoliation and cellular renewal. Peel depth is influenced by several key factors, including the type of acids used, their concentration, the solution’s pH, and the amount of time the peel remains on the skin.
While many superficial peels are designed to refresh only the skin’s surface, deeper peels may require more significant downtime. For clients seeking visible correction with a refined treatment experience, Salon 360 offers VI Peels with personalized formulations designed to deliver meaningful results with minimal, if any, downtime.
Upon arrival, your nurse will take the time to discuss your skincare needs and personalize your treatment experience. VI Peel varieties target skin concerns such as Melasma and UV damage, active acne, scarring, rosacea, rough texture, wrinkles, fine lines and more.
After goals are discussed, your nurse will choose the VI Peel formulated to best suit your needs. This comfortable treatment is applied in gentle sweeping motions with gauze, allowing time between each layer for the formula to absorb while your skin’s response is carefully monitored.
A take home kit will be provided with specific post-treatment instructions and products. Skin flaking should begin around day 2 and peeling days 3-5. Peeling should end by day 7 and your skin will glow!
